Founder & CEO
Ana Robbins is a charismatic social entrepreneur who started Jewish Kids Groups (JKG) as a way to engage Jewish youth during the school year outside of the traditional Sunday school and Hebrew school models.
Chief Operating Officer
Maya Selber has been with Jewish Kids Groups since its early startup days in 2012. She currently serves as JKG’s Chief Operating Officer, where she implements organizational strategy, strengthens internal systems, and oversees a rapidly expanding team.
Chief Innovation Officer
Rachel oversees JKG’s national work, including the Jewish After School Accelerator (JASA) and the expanding network of partner sites across the country, ensuring the successful replication of JKG’s model in communities across North America. She is also responsible for generating and scaling innovative ideas across the organization, shaping new initiatives that strengthen both local programs and national reach.
Chief Financial Officer
As Chief Financial Officer, Trena oversees all financial operations of JKG. With over 20 years of experience in finance, she excels in comprehensive bookkeeping, including account balancing, payroll processing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.
Director of Program Operations
As JKG’s Director of Program Operations, Debbie is in charge of managing program operations for all of JKG’s Atlanta programs. She recently served as director of JKG’s Morningside Afternoon Community for four years.
Education Director
Joey serves as the Director of Education for Jewish Kids Groups, where she oversees the organization’s entire educational infrastructure—shaping vision and pedagogy, supporting educators, and ensuring that JKG delivers joyful, high-impact learning across all programs.
Development Associate
As JKG’s Development Associate, Carly stays busy writing and managing grants, cultivating relationships, raising funds, and stewarding our generous donors.
Marketing and Communications Consultant
Allison has been helping organizations communicate effectively for more than 20 years. She has been leading communications and marketing for JKG since 2020.
JASA Director
As JASA Director, Kendra runs the full Jewish After School Accelerator program, guiding and supporting partner sites across North America to deliver high-quality, joyful Jewish afterschool experiences.
After-School Network Director
Rabbi Penina Alexander guides JKG’s national community of Jewish after-school programs to connect, learn, support, and strengthen one another.
JASA Cohort Coach and Coordinator
Lana has extensive experience in program development and staff coaching within the Jewish community, where she has successfully led the creation of impactful educational, cultural, and welfare initiatives. She mentors and guides staff, from community connectors to regional teams, ensuring services are delivered effectively and fostering community engagement.
People & Projects Coordinator
Sivan serves as JKG’s People & Projects Coordinator, supporting the full employee experience – from recruitment and onboarding to HR operations.
Afternoon Community Program Director, Decatur
Noah runs JKG’s Afternoon Community program in Decatur, and is committed to fostering a positive environment so students and teachers feel happy at JKG. Noah ensures that our kids are being challenged and engaged by providing experiential education opportunities.
Afternoon Community Program Director, Brookhaven
As JKG’s Afternoon Community Director in Brookhaven, Jade brings her love of the arts to life! She has served in childcare for 8+ years, including being Lead Teacher and Assistant Director of JKG in Decatur.
Afternoon Community Program Director, Morningside
Patti is the Director at JKG’s Morningside Afternoon Community location. She joined the JKG team in 2021 and most recently served as Lead Teacher at Morningside. As the team lead, Patti played a key role in the implementation of the JKG curriculum, and she has often been at the helm of many of our most memorable experiences.
Interim Director: B Mitzvah & Teen Leadership Academy
Maddie is the Interim Director of JKG’s B Mitzvah and Teen Leadership Academy programs. In this role, she oversees curriculum, manages and supports teachers, plans and facilitates community service trips, and leads the second-year B Mitzvah students’ group ceremony.
