Jordana "Joey" Heyman

Education Director

Jordana "Joey" Heyman has committed nearly two decades to Jewish education, working in both teacher and administrator roles in day schools, overnight and day camps, and youth groups.

Joey serves as the Director of Education for Jewish Kids Groups, where she oversees the organization’s entire educational infrastructure—shaping vision and pedagogy, supporting educators, and ensuring that JKG delivers joyful, high-impact learning across all programs. She is redefining what supplemental Jewish education can look like for today’s families. Joey is a member of the M2 Institute’s Sixth Senior Educators Cohort, and has most recently been selected to participate in their inaugural 18x18 Summit in summer of 2023.

Joey holds a Masters in Experiential Education from American Jewish University and completed a post-graduate fellowship in Jewish Education and Advanced Jewish Studies through the Pardes Institute in Jerusalem before moving to Atlanta to teach Bible and Rabbinic Literature at the Greenfield Hebrew Academy and The Weber School.  A life-long learner, Joey is never happier than when she’s nerding out over Torah and Talmud with others, preferably over good food and with her puppy Jed Barklet in her lap.

Joey can be reached at joey@jewishkidsgroups.com.
