Jewish Afternoon Accelerator

Grow your organization and strengthen your community with weekday afternoon Jewish connection!

Following more than a decade of success in Atlanta, Jewish Kids Groups set out to make Jewish weekday afternoon programs for kids accessible to modern families across North America.

In 2023, Jewish Kids Groups was awarded a seed grant from The Marcus Foundation and early support from The Zalik Foundation to launch the JASA program, which helps Jewish organizations across North America launch their own Jewish weekday afternoon programs.

Since announcing the JASA program, more than 100 synagogues, community centers, day schools, and federations from 45 U.S. and Canadian cities have applied to participate. To date, 17 synagogues are operating thriving Jewish weekday afternoon programs with JKG’s support.

The reason?

Providing Jewish education on weekday afternoons with transportation from school makes it easier for busy families to prioritize Jewish connection during the school year.

JKG's JASA program provides Jewish organizations across North America with tools, guidance, curriculum, and financial support to launch their own Jewish weekday afternoon programs for kids in kindergarten through 5th grade.
