Maya Selber

Chief of Staff

Maya Selber has been with Jewish Kids Groups since its early startup days in 2012. She served as JKG’s Chief Operating Officer for ten years, where she implemented organizational strategy, strengthened internal systems, and oversaw a rapidly expanding team. Now, as Chief of Staff, Maya supports the enter organization with strategy, visioning, and organizational-wide projects. With a strong background in program development and operations, Maya works to ensure JKG’s growth and long-term success. Maya is passionate about contributing to a positive workplace culture and advancing JKG’s mission.

Maya holds a Master's Degree in Public Administration and Non-Profit Management from Georgia State University, and earned her BA in Communications from the Recanati International School at Reichman University in Herzliya, Israel. Prior to joining JKG, Maya worked in diverse international settings – including in Haiti, Ethiopia, and Israel – focusing on educational and youth development initiatives.

Outside of JKG, Maya loves visiting her family in her hometown of Philadelphia, playing word games (especially crossword puzzles- Mondays only), and going on adventures with her husband Lee, and kids Rae and Rafi.
