JKG School’s Out Camp: Kindergarten - 5th Grade

No school? No problem! Join us for a full day of Jewish-camp-style fun when school is out! Our energetic teachers pack each day with opportunities for learning, growth, friendship, and sheer joy. Your child will participate in scavenger hunts, create art projects, practice yoga, learn Hebrew vocabulary, explore the outdoors, do fun science experiments, go on local field trips, cook delicious Israeli food, and so much more – all through a Jewish lens.

Sign up for Camp
Kids love School’s Out Camp, so spaces fill quickly! Please sign up for camp at least one week before the day you want your child to attend. For last-minute signups, reach out to your site’s Program Director (current families) to confirm we are able to accommodate your child, or contact us directly (new families) info@jewishkidsgroups.com or 404-913-9554.
Camp spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Deadlines for all camp days are listed on JKG Afternoon Community & School’s Out Camp calendars.
Site Program Directors may accept late camp enrollments depending on student numbers and staffing capabilities. JKG does not accept walk-ins on camp days.
Current JKG Families: Register for camp by clicking on “School’s Out Camp Reservations” option in the ChildPilot menu on the right-hand side of your screen. Log in to your JKG Parent Portal account here and follow the prompts to complete your reservation(s).
New Families: Register for camp by filling out this form. Under “Desired Program”, choose “School’s Out Camp”. You will receive an invitation to set up your JKG Parent Portal account within 48 hours. At that time, you can register for specific camp dates within the JKG Parent Portal.
Days, Times, Locations, & Cost
Camp runs from 9:00am-5:00pm on days when public schools are closed, including several days at the beginning of the summer. Each location follows the calendar for its area public school system. JKG School’s Out Camp costs $90 per child, per day. Cost includes a full day of supervised fun and healthy snacks. Kids are required to bring their own packed lunches (please, no nut products!) and water bottles.
Brookhaven: JKG camp is located within one mile of the Brookhaven Library and follows the DeKalb County Schools calendar.
Decatur: JKG camp is located within one mile of Decatur Square and follows City Schools of Decatur calendar.
Morningside: JKG camp is located within one mile of Morningside Elementary and the follows Atlanta Public Schools calendar.
Camp Billing Policies
Cancellation Policy
JKG Camp is 100% non-refundable. JKG does not provide refunds for camp cancellations for any reason.
In order to receive credit on your account from a camp day cancellation, please read our cancellation policy below:
We require that you provide at least one week’s (7 days) notice of cancellation in order to receive 100% credit back to your account.
If you provide 4-6 days of notice, you will receive 50% credit back to your account.
If you provide less than 4 days of notice, you will not receive any credit.
To cancel a camp registration, please call or email your camp program director (current families), or contact us at info@jewishkidsgroups.com / call 404-913-9554 (new families).
Late Pickup Fees
JKG School’s Out Camp ends at 5:00pm. Beginning at 5:05pm, a late fee of $10 per family will be automatically charged to your account. JKG charges an additional $5 for every 5 minutes thereafter.
