Full-day childcare and school support

Following DeKalb County’s, Atlanta Public Schools’, and City of Decatur’s decisions to deliver online instruction this fall, JKG will be providing full-day childcare and school support in Brookhaven, Decatur, and Morningside! The program will run Monday through Friday beginning early-mid August. Exact start date, hours, and cost information coming soon.

Students will:

• Receive support connecting with their online classroom, participating in online instruction, and submitting online assignments

• Build friendships with neighborhood Jewish kids who are also learning virtually

• Participate in activities like art, Jewish cooking, outdoor play, etc. when schoolwork is complete

We are continuing to solidify program details. For now, we can tell you the following:

• Ages: The program will serve students ages 5-11 (grades K-5 and Pre-K students who are at least 5 years old) 

• Weekdays: Families must register for all five days (Monday-Friday). We are not offering partial-week registration at this time.

• Safety: We will follow all local and CDC recommendations to keep kids, teachers, and families safe and healthy.

• Class Size: Classrooms will run with small groups of students and will not mix with other groups. (Exact numbers coming soon.)

• Siblings: Siblings will be placed in the same group to minimize contact for each family.
