Meet The JKG Afterschool Community Brookhaven Team
Mia Azani, Afterschool Community Co-Director
Mia is a skilled educator, loving camp leader, and experiential learner. Mia speaks fluent Hebrew, has lived in Israel, received a Jewish Day School education and has worked at JKG for several years. She has spent the last three years traveling the globe independently, discovering what she is truly passionate about in an organic, unique and fulfilling learning process.
Mia loves nature, music, art, and mediation, and has drastically incorporated these principles into her life. She has taken many workshops and courses on meditation, holistic psychology and child therapy, and hopes to help children cope with the pressures of Western lifestyle with breathing techniques, love, and freedom of expression. We are thrilled to have her with us on the JKG Brookhaven team, and I know that you all will enjoy working with her!
