Emma Neiman, JKG Sunday Program Director
Emma is originally from Long Island, New York. She graduated from Stanford University with a BA in Communication and Spanish. During her time at Stanford, Emma was very involved in the Jewish community.
She served on the board of the Jewish Student Association for three years, including as Vice President and President. Her goal was to create an inclusive community where all Jewish students felt at home, no matter their background.
In addition, Emma has a lot of experience working with children. She was a member of a children’s theater group called Flying Treehouse, which teaches creative writing workshops to second grade classes and then adapts and performs their stories. She also worked as a summer camp counselor for five years – two years at a Jewish camp called URJ Eisner Camp in Massachusetts, and three years at Camp Kesem, a camp for children whose parents have cancer. She loves seeing imagination and playfulness at work!
Emma enjoys interacting with kids, empowering young people to take leadership roles, and singing along to musicals. She is thrilled to be a part of the JKG team!
