It's never too early to start learning about the High Holidays! This week, we started our unit on Rosh Hashanah so our JKG kids will be all ready to help their families celebrate. Our students listened to Rosh Hashanah stories, wrote their own New Year's cards, completed scavenger hunts and relays, and made apple tree art projects. In Ivrit (Hebrew) classes, kids continued working on their letter recognition and classroom vocabulary--they're learning so fast!
It was also our last week for a while with our amazing substitute teacher, Sam. Sam has an amazing musical background and the kids have loved their shira song and dance time with her. As always, you can follow along with our weekly adventures below!
