Over the past two weeks, our oldest students have tried their hand at teaching. Each student taught a younger Ivrit (Hebrew) group and did an amazing job! The younger students loved having their big buddies as a "teacher". Each "student teacher" planned their lesson for a week in advance with the guidance of their Hebrew teacher. The students developed unique lessons that reflect their own interests and personalities. A 5th grade student loved the experience so much she wanted to reflect on it in a blog post. Here's her take on teaching and some pictures from the day. We are so proud!
Today I taught the youngest group Ivrit. I taught them "Let it go" in Hebrew. They made a cute little dance. I incorporated Hebrew and Hebrew numbers. I had fun with the lesson. I like learning and teaching Hebrew so this was a fun experience. After this some kids said they had fun. I definitely want to teach again.
