ABOUT  JEWISH  KIDS Groups

Our Mission
Jewish Kids Groups is an independent network of Jewish supplementary schools that educate and inspire children--in a way that feels like summer camp-- engendering positive Jewish learning, identity, and friendships.

Our Story
In 2012, Jewish Kids Groups piloted an independent Jewish education model. We wanted to make Hebrew school FUN again and to reach families not being served in the Jewish community.

JKG started with just 6 children and has grown to over 235 at 4  locations! JKG is experiential, action-packed, content-rich, and friendship focused. We have energetic Jewish teachers and a joyful Jewish (and Hebrew) curriculum that gets kids EXCITED about learning.

Our programs are designed for all types of Jewish families, including interfaith and unaffiliated. The Jewish educational backgrounds of our students are diverse, and our teachers are trained to engage all learners, whether they are brand new to learning about Judaism or have grown up celebrating holidays and already know some Hebrew.

Jewish Kids Groups is a place children look forward to coming, where friendships are made and Jewish identity is built. Learn more about our Sunday and Afterschool programs here.
Statement of Inclusivity
Jewish Kids Groups is devoted to creating a welcoming and comfortable space for all of our students and their families. Our programs are designed to educate in a way that fosters inclusivity and an acceptance of diversity. We encourage all families to participate in our programs, regardless of age, marital status, sexual orientation, or financial means, and we welcome gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender individuals. We are a diverse community of families, and we're committed to building a warm and inclusive environment for everyone.
