Marla  Shainberg, JKG Jr. Teacher

Marla’s extensive volunteer career has been primarily about all things Jewish.  Her first love has always been children’s programming. 

She has experience as a Kindermusik instructor and her favorite activities include doing crafty projects with her nieces, helping at Emory’s Retinoblastoma Survivors’ annual carnival, playing with Limmud campers at Camp Ramah, and learning lots of cool Hebrew words from Yona the Sheep. 

Marla is also a board-certified Orthoptist, an eye muscle specialist, in the Pediatric Ophthalmology Department at Emory University.
