Hebrew  Wizards  at  Jewish  Kids  Groups

JKG proudly employs the cutting-edge Hebrew Wizards curriculum.
Founded in Connecticut in 2005 by Deborah Tarasow Salomon, Hebrew Wizards revolves around a series of thematic Wizards Boards. Each of these giant laminated poster boards is a colorful, professionally-designed visual depiction of key Jewish ideas, stories, facts, traditions and more. The Boards range in topic and include Hebrew language, Torah stories, tefillah (prayer), chagim (Jewish holidays), Israel and more!

How It Works:
Students work in intimate groups with a JKG team member to "master" specific boards they help select. The groups may, for example, decide to write a play, create an art project, invent a pneumonic device, write a song, or design a board game. Students then demonstrate what they've learned while playing games and having fun.
