So many peulot, so little time
some of our favorite peulot (activities ) from last week:
CIT Sophie teaches an Israeli dance she learned at summer camp to fellow JKG students.
Multicultural Music There are many different people and cultures in Israel. Almost all of these people bring different kinds of music to Israel! During this peula students watch music videos and dance to different types of music, while learning a bit about each musical group's culture.
Hello Israel Basketball Challenge There are many different people who live in Israel and each group brings its own language. Students practice saying hello in different languages while trying to score points for their team.
Bring it home: Tell your child about your family's history and culture. You can also check out the music of Cafe Shahor Hazak, an Ethiopian group that raps in Hebrew.
Israeli Salad Students worked hard to make a delicious Israeli salad for friends to enjoy during second nishnushim (snack).
Bring it home: Teach your child to make a special, family recipe or try making Israeli salad like this one from Kveller.com.
